So I've been doing some research into turning normal image files such as PNG and JPEG into 2D stl or svg files and models.
After an extensive amount of research I have found the top two ways that work best for me. I will just discuss one way in this post but keep your eyes open for the next way to convert images!
I hope this helps you and if you have any qustions please leave a comment!
Turing an image into a 2D model through Tinkercad

This is the more simple way to turn you image files into a 2D object. All you need is an Autodesk account and an image you would like to convert!
The first step is to go to Tinkercad and create an account or put in your Autodesk ID. You can go to the website using this link https://www.tinkercad.com/
Once you have created your account you can start a project. You will see a workplane and a tool bar on the side.
On the side you will see tabs that say "Favorites, Import, Shape Generator, Tinkercad," and so on.

You're going to want to click "Shape Generators" and then click "Tinkercad".

Once you click that you should see something that looks like this. The next thing your going to want to do is click "Image Generator" that's the pink square that looks similar to something you would see on a camera.

Once you click on the image generator you should see this white side screen show up. It is called the "Inspector". All you have to do is drag a JPEG or PNG file into the doted square where it says "Drag a picture here" or just choose a file by clicking "Or choose one".

Once you drag or upload your photo it should only take a few seconds to minuets to show up on the pink shape.

As you can see it is currently "Embossed". This means that the image is engraved into the pink shape.

This is the shape currently not "Embossed" You can select what one you would like underneath the "Smoothness" bar.

As you can see when printed it has a very high quality image! (Pardon the pieces of wax that got stuck in it)
Thank you for vewing and I hope this helped you out! ~Hannah
